two broken models would be bad especially when im on a budget of around £70-£90 i was thinking about putting it in a new holland digger made by ROS i think but i will most likely send it back as he got the measurements wrong it wont even fit on my homemade rc lowloader so i think it would be best i got it yesterday so i should be able to get a refund -shipping cost it does sound a bit ambitious really swaping the internals i was thinking about building an rc mower like the one on the site can it fold and unfold ? Thanks for your time anyway

Yes I know what you mean, this hobby can get expensive quickly. Yes I think it will be challenging to say the least. I think that ROS new holland is pretty much identical to my Hitachi just painted different and with a few small details changed but I could be wrong. Low loader for a tractor? The mower only fold I haven't gotten time add anything else to it yet like LEDs. I just wanted something that could hold big batteries and still add a function to the model.

yes it was the dangreville i think then i painted it into a herbst and it folds and unfolds the ramp nothing too special and one last question which tractor would be best to make into an rc tractor uh ford 76/7810 2wd or ih1056xl britains model? becasue im tempted to do one of those into a rc tractor as i will have a bigger budget than i do now but i arnt very good with technology other than cars and tractors and the odd computor i would love to have the satisfaction of making a mower into rc and/or a tractor into rc to show off to my friends haha (i still think its clever how you make the mower fold and unfold)

That is a pretty simple one, it's just a servo in it so I can't claim any great technological break through on that one UH and britains tractors are a bit trickier because most I have seen are cast more to the shape of the tractor than the SIKU ones. I have a 7810 I bought to try do a conversion but it's so small and is almost one solid piece of diecast so I haven't been able to figure it out yet. I don't know how big the ih1056xl model is but I'd guess you'd run into similar problems unfortunately but just because I haven't managed it yet doesn't mean you wont. I have a bunch of other models to get through first before I get that far. Also lots of people strip SIKU control 32 models for electronics, motors, servos and put them into other models, that might be a possible route. This guy called SIKU Corleone on youtube does that really well. You'd have the benefit of having a SIKU controller ready to go but you're limited to the functions of the model you stripped so it's a trade off really.

that who inspired me to find infomation to make my own rc tractors which led me here the only thing about the 32 control is the price tey are very expensive i have the bog basic john deere 8345r but i would like a smaller tractor to get into tight gate ways i have been looking for a jd 6830 siku control but seem to have became dicontinued so there is little to choose from sadly if i got one id simply transfer it into a siku model of some kind id really like to have a working 3pt linkage as i have a field i put brown sand stuff in so that you can plow, cultivate etc and my 8345r doesnt have a working hitch

Yes I know what you mean they are pretty pricey but to be honest my method isn't that much cheaper really although I've yet to perfect it really I guess. Also I've yet to figure out how to squeeze a three point link servo into the smaller models but I'm sure I will, lots of other little issues to work out really. I too would like to get a plough working at some point, its one of the more satisfying things you see rc tractors do since you can't really mow grass or bale silage in 1:32 scale but ploughing works great.

I kind of put the Hitachi on hold while I figure out the Komatsu. When it's working I'll upgrade the Hitachi to match because the Komatsu is looking better already.
