Would it be possible for you to post your controller and both receiver codes for this project, rather than the generic code? I would like to see all three, and how you have the two tractor boards linked.
I am about to start one, and would be curious to see your code.
Cheers
Derek

I don't actually have the 9560 finished yet, it has been on hold for a long time now so I really need to finish it.
The best I can do for you is the JD8360RT model code which still has a lot of bugs for example the lights aren't set up properly and some times flash unexpectedly, also lifting arm servo has some sort of jitter in it. It doesn't have a steering servo obviously but that is a minor thing to add yourself. So basically I can give you a work in progress code if that is of use to you and if you come across any problems let me know as it is possible I'll have noticed and solved it before you get your model finished. I'll post it tonight if I remember.
By the way I only say generic code because you need to give each tractor a unique ID yourself, the current generic code is my last working tractor using the XBee module so it is exactly the code I used with my last fully working tractor. I will update the generic code to this code when it is fully working and archive the XBee one somewhere in case someone ever has use for it.
The two Arduinos are just linked by the UART connection so I have four wires coming from the cab to the body connected with dupont connectors so that I can remove the cab for programming. The wires are the UART RX, UART TX, ground and the battery which goes to the raw pin of the cab arduino because we need 3.3 volt regulation for the NRF24.

Thanks. I look forward to seeing you code and hopefully your completed code using nRF24 as well.
i see you get a lot of parts from eBay. Have you tried aliexpress.com - direct from China? cheap and quite a range.
i have a Claas Axion 950 coming shortly and can't wait to get started on that
cheers, and keep up the great work!

Sorry I forgot about the code, I'll post it tonight for sure.
Yes I've occasionally ordered from aliexpress and I have to agree it does have a huge selection of components, even stuff you don't see on ebay.
The Claas Axion tractors seem to be a very popular conversion, lots of people say that they are starting with those models. It does look like a good big model to start with.

Hi Derek, I added the code you asked for into another post here forum.rctractors.net/thread/86/john-deere-8360rt-controller-codeHopefully it'll help but I haven't read through it or anything so don't trust the comments in the code I could have copied and pasted parts of the code from earlier tractor code just to get the tractor rolling and never changed the comments.
