I've been looking recently at tamiya motor gearboxes, they seem to allow you to change the gearing ratio which would be extremely useful for applications like making a radio controlled tractor. Has anyone tried them out? Are they able to take the strain I've seen a lot of them with plastic gears which is a little worrying.
