Id like to know if anyone has thought about having rc tractor/truck pulls,?? Complete with a weight transfer sled. Iam sure that the auto races are cool., But tractor/truck pulling would be even cooler.. How many people live near central Michigan that are into the rc tractor and truck hobby?

I've like a group of facebook called Lone Star State R/C Truck and Tractor Pulling Association so I guess they are from texas. They do RC tractor pulls but its 1/10 scale I think.

In my opinion we shouldn't compare 1:32 and 1:16 models. 1:32 are nice to play with indoor, eg home. With 1:16 models we can go outside, to the garden. Those give us a lot of possibilities, but it takes plenty of space. With 1:32 models we are limited by the space and size of elements, so some functions are impossible to implement. I have only had contact with siku and bruder and because of that I think both of them are the best, but in different classes.

That is true, two different classes so not really comparable. I find Siku and the old joal construction models are great for conversion as they are mostly screwed together without too many solid molded part. I've also looked at universal hobbies which are not so easy to convert due to the exposed molded engines. I haven't tried a bruder conversion but looking at them in stores they look like they would be good for a 1:16 conversion.
