Okay I've been toying with the idea for a while now and a recent post on Facebook has made me think I should check peoples opinion on the subject.
The idea is to develop a kit including a radio transceiver, a microcontroller, a motor/gearbox, motor controller, battery, voltage regulators, LEDs etc for a tractor. Starting with the John Deere 9560 R as it is probably the best starting platform. There would also be a simple PCB controller probably with joysticks from an XBox controller, a microcontroller, an XBee, battery case all of which you could assemble on the board yourself.
Is this something people would buy if it was available? If so I could start developing it, possibly a simple one at first with a cheaper radio transceiver than the XBee to try and keep costs down.
Also if people have suggestions for features, post them below and I can try ad them.

That's a good suggestion, most components that would fit 1:32 scale would fit 1:10 apart from motor drivers as they would need to handle more power. I could make it in modules so people could just choose which ones suited their model and plug them together.

Yes, However in the meantime can you make a list of parts that go into making a RC tractor. Thanks!

If you look at schematic of the electronic circuit you will find them all.
