Hi Tracy, I'm afraid we don't have any kits, pretty much all the parts came from eBay so they shouldn't be too hard to find. The parts were Arduino pro mini tb6612fng motor driver N20 gear motors Tower pro 9g servo Xbee radio module And some assorted LEDs, transistors and wire You also need a USB to UART module to programming the arduino and controller which was made from an arduino pro mini and some Xbox controller joysticks which can be bought on eBay too. You can get some electronics from icstation here too www.rctractors.net/electronics-from-ic-stationHope that helps, I hope to make kits when I finalise the design but I'm struggling to get the time to finish it. It will probably be a few months at least. |

I was curious if you have tried any micro 2.4G receivers from Hobby King? I have a controller that is 2.4G and it would be a lot easier to wire up to the rc vehicle due to my lacking in the skills necessary to program the arduino. Any suggestions on a cheap receiver/transmitter?

Hi, I haven't tried that before myself as I kind of decided the Arduino route probably suited me best. I'm sure there are plenty of systems available to give you the control you need, particularly if you are just looking for basic control then a micro RC car system would surely work. Might be harder to control the JD8360RT since it is two tracks but there is probably a micro system for a tank out there somewhere.
