Can you tell me if it is advisable to restrict the twisting action of the rear of the 9560. It looks like the axle in the video isn't free to twist and is only allowed to move in the horizontal steering plane. This seems to make sense but it would be nice to preserve original movement .Please advise. Many thanks Barrie

I don't see why you couldn't do it to some degree and I intend to try myself. At present I just knocked the steering together with some servo arms just to make sure the servo had enough torque to turn the heavy body. When I get round to finishing that assembly I will be trying to make it closer to the original movement. The only problem restricting the potential rotation that I can see is the connecting rod between the servo arm and rear axle hitting the undercarriage of the tractor. I intend to try and if it turns out to cause problems I'll just make up some hard stops to restrict the movement.

That looks like a really strong and tidy way to mount the N20 motors, your model is going to have an amazing amount of pulling power with those N20 motors driving it.

Those N20 motors are hidden perfectly in the model. I've started working on my JD 9560R again, decided to switch to 4 wheels instead of 8 after I discovered that this huge model had a better turning circle than the Massey 8680. It's a great model for RC conversion.

I have a new idea. If I will install such a box in the rear of my model there will be plenty of space for large batteries and maybe even sound module. I need to think about that. PS. Can anybody who is native english tell me if "box" is a correct word in this case?

Hi Tomek, great progress on the build the steering linkage is very nice.
I would call that "box" a dumper body because he appears to be dumping something into a spreader but I've tried to google it's real name without any luck so no idea what claas call it. Great idea to use that to hide large batteries, shouldn't look out of place on such a large machine.

My idea of mounting wheels is not working. It is not straight when I tighten the screw. I need to rebuild that a little bit.

That's a pity it was looking very strong.
